Our lumberjack events appeal to sports and action enthusiasts of all ages. To top it off we add in a few jokes for the kids as well as some veiled humor geared towards adults. There is fun crowd interaction throughout the entire show, including a post-show meet and greet with the jacks.

Our show director Cassidy Scheer is a 10 time world champion speed climber. He only hires top athletes and then trains them to a world class level. Our jacks regularly compete at the Stihl Timbersports Series, Lumberjack World Championships, and U.S. Open Logrolling tour.

ll of our show events are a modern day, competitive depiction of old time lumberjack workaday skills. You’ll see logrolling, speed climbing, and the chopping and sawing of logs with highly tuned axes and saws, all at a very competitive level.

For over 60 years, the House on the Rock has been a majestic work in progress. It began in 1945, when a man named Alex Jordan had a towering goal: to build a man-made retreat as awe-inspiring as the view from the rock upon which the house would eventually be built. From that spark of imagination, the House on the Rock has evolved to include displays and collections of the exotic, the unusual and the amazing that can be viewed as three separate tours.

Alex Jordan’s awesome retreat built atop a chimney of rock opened to the public in 1960. The retreat was only the beginning. Alex used to explain his sprawling creation of collections, displays and galleries by saying that “one thing just sort of led to another.” On our self-guided tour you will explore some of the most unique collections including the world’s largest carousel, a 200′ sea creature, automated music machines and much more.

But your adventure is just beginning! Two shore landings beckon, ports of call you’ll experience only on Dells Boat Tours®. Witches Gulch is a spectacular and spooky walk through a narrow canyon carved by wind and water and filled with fern glens, shadowy passages and hidden whirlpool chambers. At Stand Rock, you’ll walk to the base of this imposing pillar of sandstone, then watch as high above you, a trained dog makes the famous leap from cliff face to Stand Rock and back again.

t was back in 1956 that Dr. R.O. Ebert started the horse-drawn wagon tours through Lost Canyon, the longest and deepest land canyon in Wisconsin. In 1967, the Kissack families took over the business and still operate it today, doing their part to maintain this natural treasure.

Visitors ride through a mile of cliff-walled gorges in comfortable yet quaint horse-drawn carriages. At the narrowest passages, the guides must talk the horses through the tight squeeze. In some of the deeper parts, the sheer rock and sandstone wall have not felt the touch of the sun in more than 50,000 years.
